XC-Team Italy

Hi everybody, my name is Roberto and I fly since 2000 almost every days, I'm very lucky. I'm also a tandem pilot, assistant instructor in the Bassano freeflight school and Aircross importer for Italy, so I must try all the models in all the weather conditions...I know, it's a hard job, but somebody have to do it ;-)I love the competitions, but last year I discover my love for the xc flights during my trip in Brasil with the Aircross guys, so this year I decided to spend almost all my free time for this.I just broke my personal distance record with my fantastic U-Sport2, and this is a great satisfaction for me. The flight for me it's more than a passion, so I decided to dedicate some time to teach to some young and promising guys as to become faster a good xc pilot, and I already got some big satisfaction.See you soon in the sky...

Hi, my Name is Mattia Tommasi, I'm 25 years old and I fly since December 2011, so I'm one of the younger pilots of our team.I started to fly in the regional competitions this year, and also I like to do xc flights with my U-Fly.Last week I done my personal best for almost 70km in Bassano area, my usual flight site, and I'm very happy.Now I would to continue to improve to try to fly over 100km...maybe with the U-Cruise 😉

My name is Alessio Voltan and I’m flying paragliding since more than 10 years!Flying is my great passion! Doesn’t matter if enjoining the solitude of my mounting during a cross country or challenging during a competition…Well, for having fun I need to feel comfortable with my glider and trusting it!I like flying my USP2 because it keeps a high performance at every speed and it gives an excellent feedback...and when I’m in perfect harmony with my glider I can fully savor my flight and its emotions!I use to fly in Dolomite Alps, where the winds and the terms vary continuously and sometime drastically…so it’s of paramount importance to fly a safe and performing glider in order to overcome transitions and microclimate changes.Enjoy your flights and have fun! I’ve started flying paragliders in 1989. From 2008 to 2011 I participated in the regional paragliding championsip (Triveneto), in various events of the Italian League and in some editions of Trofeo Montegrappa (international Italian meeting in Bassano del Grappa).Now I enjoy XC flights in Lagorai Peaks, in Feltre Valley, in Bassano area and in the Group of Brenta montains.

My name is Gabriele Frizzera, I'm 17, I'm italian acro pilot and from September I started acro paragliding. The maneuvers I can do are: sat, helico, misty flip, helico to sat, misty to helico, dynamic stall.

Lucas Gazzola won the regional championship on his U fly now is flying U Sport 2. His longest XC flight is 152km and for the 2018 season he will fly U Cruise. He started paragliding in 2013.
